It has moisturizing, soothing and regenerating properties that make it ideal for dry, mature or sensitive skin types. History
: Palmarosa is a tropical plant native to India, but now widely cultivated in many parts of the world. Its use can be traced back to the ancient Indian medicine of Ayurveda, where it was used to treat fevers, infectious diseases and skin problems. The plant was also valued for its aromatic properties and was used in perfumes and as a flavouring agent in Indian cuisine.
In addition, it was used to repel insects and as a natural repellent for mosquitoes. It was introduced to the Western world in the 19th century and became a popular ingredient in perfumery and aromatherapy. Today, it is still used for its antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties, as well as for its calming and tonic aroma.
