Colours for candles: What to look for?
Giving the desired shade to your wax can become a problem as the colour of your wax has no relation when it is melted to that when it is in solid form.
➡️ The solution is simple: after melting the wax we add the colour. To see its shade, drip 2 to 3 drops onto a white paper paste. The shade that the drops on the paper will have is the same shade that our candle will have when it is cold!
Now we can gradually add more colour by repeating the process until the desired result is achieved, as well as adding black for a darker tone.
Which colour type should I choose?
🍫 Cubed colours: we use them for pastel shades and they are ideal for small quantities and amateur hobby creations.
💧Wetcolors: they are more intense and have greater color fidelity, ideal for larger quantities and more professional results.
🌈 Neon colors Vibressence: they are neon, intense, and glowing. They are ideal for summer candles or trend candles.
⛔️ΑΠΑΓΟΡΕΥΟΝΤΑΙ: crayons, crayon paints and MICA, as they contain resins and plastics that can clog the wick and produce harmful substances when burning.
