The plastic handle stays cool even when the pot is full of hot wax!
To make any type of candles we always place them in a Candle Melting Pot (Bain-Marie) to melt them. The wax is always melted in a Bain-Marie, never directly on the fire. The water is boiled at 100 degrees Celsius, preventing our wax from overheating, smoking or even igniting.
