How do I calculate how much perfume I need for my candle?

A scented candle is a special creation as it can change our mood and give a refreshing or relaxing tone to the atmosphere of our space.
Choosing the fragrance of our candle is usually the first thought that comes to mind when it comes to making a candle. The amount of fragrance we add plays an important role, so that our candle has a pleasant burn.

So, to calculate the amount of fragrance we follow the steps below:

1. First, we convert the percentage of fragrance to grams by dividing the percentage of fragrance by 100.
For example, if our fragrance percentage is 8%, then we have:
8 / 100 = 0.08 grams of fragrance

2. Now we multiply the grams of our candle by the grams of perfume.
If our candle for example weighs 200 grams, according to our example we have:
200 x 0.08 = 16 grams of perfume

So in 200 grams of total wax we have 184 grams of wax and 16 grams of perfume!
